Cutting costs

~ Get rid of the second car
~ Buy food only on sale (and with coupons)
~ Rent out a room
~ Set a limit to restaurant eating
~ Use generic medications
~ Get a second job
~ Skip the meat in your meals a couple of days a week
~ Join a carpool
~ Sell things on Ebay or yardsale sites
~ Eliminate gym memberships, cable, or cell phones
~ Cook in bulk to make multiple meals
~ Babysit
~ Use public transportation a few days a week
~ Bring your lunch to work
